Description

The DM20YM is a 1.4-tonne mini excavator running a Yanmar diesel engine aimed at contractors who need real digging capability in a machine that still fits through a gate.

The DM20YM is a compact 1.3-ton class mini excavator powered by a Yanmar diesel engine, built with pilot joystick controls, retractable tracks, side-swing boom, hydraulic thumb clip, and a reinforced lower frame for improved control, access, and jobsite versatility.

The hydraulic thumb turns the bucket into a grab, so rock, root balls, brash and broken concrete can be picked and placed rather than dragged. The swing boom offsets sideways, letting the operator dig hard against a wall, fence or foundation without repositioning the tracks. A variable-width undercarriage lets the machine get through restricted access and still work off a stable base.

It suits drainage runs, footing excavation, root and stump work, levelling for slabs and sheds, and clearing tight back gardens.

At around a tonne it will go through a standard side gate, tow behind a pickup on a light trailer, and work off a domestic driveway without cracking it.
